Week 59

Hey all!

This week was pretty rad.  We worked hard and had some fun too.

I'm writing on Tuesday because we are going to have zone conference on Wednesday.  We just kinda chilled today.  We were going to go to Pesaro to hang with the rest of the zone but we decided we weren't about that life and
just stayed here instead, got anziano Ward a much needed backpack, ate a piadina, and now we are in the church painting.  Yeah that's right,  PAINTING.  It's a new hobby that we decided to take up together.  It's pretty fun and I discovered that I'm pretty heckin good at it!  Well to be fair I haven't actually painted yet.  Just sketched.  But I'm pretty heckin good at it!  I'm drawing Anziano Ward, and so far I've spent like an hour on his upper lip.  I'm gonna give it to him for Christmas and say, "There's more where that came from if you go to prom with me..."

Anyways what happened this week ummmmmm... C.. and R... were baptized on Saturday and confirmed on Sunday which was all that was left of the Ye.. family.  It was really really cool.  I felt a lot of love for both of them in that moment.  Alex was sooo happy that his family was able to be reunited with him and baptized.  Now they just need to go to the temple!  I'm really happy for them.

We have had a lot of success thanks to God recently but we are not done quite yet.  There are still a lot of other people who need the blessings that come from baptism with the proper authority.  So we are gonna continue to work hard.

Also President basically told me that I would be staying here another transfer so It looks like I will be here for Christmas!!  Otherwise they would transfer me literally right before Christmas and I would have to spend it with a companion and members that I don't know which would suck.  But this is better!

How is everything going at home?  I really miss you guys.  I saw a nativity set in this store Maham so... just sayin'.  If you wanna me to get it I maybe can.

Anyways tell the grills to get in the back seat because "girls in the back, ga ga girls in the back!"

I love you all!
Ciao

Week 58

Gooooood mooooorning Vietnaaaaaam!

Ok so this week has been a week.  It's been pretty good!

Good, bad, & funny time;

Good: Em.. and Ju.. were baptized! T'was awesome.  I was able to perform the batism for Ju.. and then confirm him the next day.  He's a full blown Ladda Day Saint yo!

Bad: Just Em.. and Ju.. were baptized not all four like we planned.  But it's not that bad because C... and R...are comin' up this next weekend.  It was just logistic things and the Branch President didn't want 4 baptisms in one day.  Seems like we're goin' too fast and need to slow down a bit.

Funny: At the mensa where we work at, this crazy old lady who comes in every once in a while decided she needed some salt to take home with her so she took her napkin, spread some salt on it and then rolled it up like a cigarette.  I thought she was gonna light up right then and there but she decided to save that salt joint for later.

Good:  after J's baptism he said to us, "I just wanna be like you people"  so this week he has been spreading the good word to his friends.  He gave us the number of someone he met on the street that seemed interested and we were able to meet with him.  J is amazing.

Anyways I was gonna write more goods bads and funnies but I ran out of time.  I'll write more next week.

I love you all!  Have a great week
